1. Add the bookmark

2. Use it on Google Maps

1Open Google Maps and search for a kind of business in a place, for example dentist in Chicago.
2When the list of places shows on the left, click 📍 ScrapePass - Google Maps Leads in your bookmarks bar.
3A small panel opens and asks Ready? Press Go, and the list scrolls by itself to load every place, usually in under a minute. A purple highlight moves down the list as it reads each place.
4Press Download CSV to save the file, any time you have enough. It opens in Excel and Google Sheets.

Questions

Is it really free?

Yes. No account, no limit on how often you use it, and nothing to install. It is a bookmark that runs a small script on the Google Maps page you have open.

Is my data sent anywhere?

No. The script reads the list in your own browser and builds the CSV there. Nothing is sent to ScrapePass or anyone else. You can read the full source code below.

How many places can I get from one search?

As many as Google Maps shows in the list, usually up to about 120 places per search. For more, search smaller areas (one neighborhood or ZIP code at a time), or move the map and use “Search this area”, then run the bookmark again. If Google Maps says you are seeing a limited view, sign in to Google to load the full list.

Why are some phones and websites missing?

The bookmark reads the results list, and for some kinds of business (dentists, for example) Google Maps shows a “Book online” button there instead of a phone and website. To get every place’s phone, website and full address, use the ScrapePass Google Maps template: it opens each place and reads them from its page.

Does it get emails?

No. Google Maps does not show emails. The CSV has each business’s website, so you can find contact details there.

Does it work in other languages and countries?

Yes. It works on Google Maps in any language and on any Google domain (google.com, google.co.uk, google.de and so on). Values such as categories and opening hours come in the language Google Maps shows.

Which browsers does it work in?

Desktop browsers with a bookmarks bar, such as Chrome, Edge and Brave. Phones and tablets make bookmarks like this hard to run, so use a computer.

What if it stops working?

Google Maps changes its page from time to time, which can stop the bookmark finding places or fill some columns wrongly. Press Report a problem in the panel, or contact us, with the search you ran and a screenshot of the panel. Once it is fixed, drag the new bookmark from this page to your bookmarks bar again.

What if I need more than the list shows?

The ScrapePass Google Maps template opens each place and reads its phone, website, full address, every day’s opening hours and plus code, and exports to Excel, CSV or JSON.

Only collect data you have the right to use, and follow Google’s terms and the privacy laws where you work.
